M2Moms® 2010—Are You Ready?

When you ask Liz Fongemie, SVP of PME Enterprises, what she is looking forward to most during this year’s 6th Annual M2Moms®-The Marketing To Moms Conference, she hesitates to answer. “It’s like asking a mom to pick her favorite kid,” says Fongemie who is the producer of M2Moms®. “All of the sessions at this year’s conference are awesome and every speaker is a must-see for marketers.” She’s not kidding. With more than 40 speakers—including such notable experts as Carley Roney, Stacy DeBroff, Liz Hawks, Laurie Klein and John Driscoll—and numerous brands (Kodak, Hallmark, Walmart and Disney Online—just to name a few) set to take the stage and fill the audience, this year’s M2Moms® experience is set to be one of the best.

As usual, M2Moms® will focus on the hottest marketing to mom trends and strategies including:

Winning Over The Cool Mom-- A workshop moderated by 360 Public Relations’ Cindy Gordon with panelists Jyl Johnson Pattee from Mom It Forward, Donna Mirus Bates from Universal Orlando Resort and Molly O’Donnell from Xbox. “What an amazing panel of experts! I’m sure they will have great insight on what strategies work best for connecting with ‘influencer moms,’” says Fongemie.

Engaging Moms at the Intersection of Health, School & Families—A presentation by the experts of School Family Media will highlight how brands such as Seventh Generation are using through-school marketing strategies to engage moms with their health-focused products and messaging. “This unique presentation will give attendees a real mom perspective—something we really haven’t had during previous M2Moms® conferences,” says Fongemie. Christy Forhan, PTO President at West Bloomfield High School, will join the stage with School Family Media’s Tim Sullivan and Seventh Generation’s Maureen Wolpert.

Understanding the Middle American Mother—“Ninety percent of moms fall into the category of ‘Middle American Moms’, yet they are being ignored by marketers,” says Fongemie. During this presentation by Katherine Wintsch of The Martin Agency and Jamie Sohosky of Walmart, attendees will learn how to promote everyday products to everyday people in not-so everyday ways. “This is a really strong way to close the conference,” adds Fongemie.

If you have yet to experience a PME®-produced conference, you are in for a real treat. “PME conferences—especially M2Moms®--is designed for marketers by marketers so attendees get information that they can actually use,” says Fongemie. “It’s a balance of research, case studies, workshops and networking.” In addition to the amazing presentations and workshops, M2Moms® attendees will find ample opportunities to build their networking connections and do something that most conferences fail to provide…have a little fun. Pre Conference Workshop and Reception; Book give-aways during the entire conference courtesy of PMP; Cakes.com’s cupcake decorating during Day One’s mid-afternoon break; Christian Dior’s complimentary mini-makeovers at the “Networking & Meet The Speakers Reception”; Dinner Connections where you can connect and share a meal with other attendees; and bringing in your own photos to try out Kodak’s new PYNK Smart Print System that automatically prints photos to fit a PYNK enabled frame—the entire M2Moms® conference is filled with moments that inspire, educate and leave you feeling prepared to take your marketing to mom mission to the next level.

“We try to create an experience…a celebration of the marketing to mom topic and the marketers and brand leaders that are in the space,” adds Fongemie.  REGISTER NOW for M2Moms®--space is limited and very few seats remain available!!  You won't want to miss this year's event.
