Marketers to Moms Experience
Unique Learning and
Networking at M2Moms
Hartford, Conn. - September 22,
2005 - M2Moms -- The Marketing to Moms Conference, October
17-18 at the Chicago Cultural Center, will feature industry
experts sharing insights on today's mom to help businesses
learn how to increase share in the $1.7 trillion dollar
mom market. The conference also offers enriching opportunities
for attendees to network through creative workshops
and special events generally not found in other business-to-business
forums.
M2Moms participants will enjoy
a private performance of The Momologues 2: Off to School,
a hilarious sequel to the highly-acclaimed original
comedy The Momologues which tells the tales of four
women experiencing motherhood. Momologues 2 provides
a candid, comical view of elementary school from mom's
viewpoint and has been a huge hit since its debut in
the Boston market last spring.
Best selling author and founder
of Spiritual Parenting, Mimi Doe, will bring a refreshing
perspective to marketers targeting today's mom in her
M2Mom session. Doe says, "Women hunger for happiness
and a deeper more meaningful way of living. Women want
tools and products that bring more soulfulness, simplicity
and order to their families." Doe is the author
of five books, has a weekly segment on the Hallmark
Channel and has been featured on the CBS Early Show
and Oprah. M2Moms attendees will also receive a copy
of her latest book, "Busy But Balanced".
"Moms are the role models-if
they model good diet and exercise behaviors their family
will often follow their lead," explains Lisa Stone,
Founder and President of Fit for 2, Inc., and a nationally
recognized expert in pre and postnatal fitness. Stone
will put attendees into mom's exercise shoes with between
session stretches and an in-place routine designed to
simulate the postnatal work out experience. She also
plans a Wake Up and Walk morning event in Chicago's
beautiful Millennium Park.
